MAC McARTHUR Mac's past solo shows includes Montreal and New York. This year he participated in the Toronto Art Expo and Houston's Foto-Fest, the world's foremost photographic biennial. Scanners are used as cameras, with individual depth of field and optical densities. Materials including world sculpture, glass, mirrors and fabrics are arranged simultaneously on the scanner glass as a painter arranges a still life. The final images are both beautiful and poetic. |
