Monoprints and Mixed Media

WORKS ON PAPER

I work mostly in watermedia – watercolour, fluid acrylics and monoprinting.

A monoprint combines printmaking, painting & drawing. Only one unique print is made from each pressing.

After studying Fine arts in Toronto at OCAD, I worked in retail advertising. That was a wild ride! It trained me to work under pressure – which explains my style – loose, spontaneous and immediate. Years of summers north of the city is where I fell in love with the Canadian Shield.

I am a graduate of the Ontario College of Art & Design. Today I am an active member of the Don Valley Art Club, Toronto.

The landscapes around Ontario and more recently, New Brunswick inspire me – especially the Canadian Shield.
